Justin’s experience in intelligence analysis and cybersecurity has led him to the realization that frequently the problem is not a lack of data, but one of asking the wrong questions. When the question is framed correctly, the analysis of the data is also framed correctly. Building on more than 14 years of IT security experience with an emphasis in network security architecture and monitoring, Justin has worked to develop new techniques to improve detection and threat hunting. After spending four years with the Air Force as an intelligence analyst, Justin brought those analytical skills to leading cybersecurity vendors in an effort to improve network security detection and response. Most recently Justin has helped develop threat intelligence and threat hunting programs within large, mature organizations. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Toledo and a master’s degree in Security and Intelligence Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
